Kevin M. Major, MD, FACS grew up in Southern California and completed undergraduate training at the University of San Diego with a degree in Biochemistry and minor in Business Administration. He went on to Medical School at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. General Surgery training was at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He spent an extra year training in the Surgical Intensive Care as the Surgical Critical Care Fellow. He then went on to the University of Southern California for 2 years of Vascular Surgery training. He is board certified in all 3 specialties; his current primary practice is in Vascular Surgery and has been in private practice for 11 years now. He is the past Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Community Memorial Hospital. Dr Major’s interests outside of Surgery include spending time with his wife and 9 year old son, growing wine grapes and enjoying LA Kings Hockey.
